New Year’s Party Snacks

Hey there!

New Year’s Eve is definitely an exciting time of the year. And of course, the new year must be celebrated with great food. Today, I’ve got you covered with some easy sweet snacks that will make celebrating the new year that much more memorable.

The first snack I am going to share with you are these funfetti marshmallows. They are quick and easy to make, but seriously are the cutest things I’ve ever made.

What you will need:

  • marshmallows
  • chocolate
  • rainbow sprinkles
  • cake pop sticks

Directions:

  1. Melt the chocolate in a glass bowl in the microwave for about 45 seconds.
  2. Dip each marshmallow half way into the chocolate, and then sprinkle on the sprinkles.
  3. Put the marshmallows into the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  4. Stick the cake pop sticks into the center of each marshmallow.
  5. Serve immediately or store in the fridge until ready to serve.

The next thing I am going to share with you are these no-bake New Year’s trifles. These trifles are so delicious and yet again… easy to make. And even though, this chocolatey goodness recipe combo is amazing, you can easily use 3 other compatible ingredients to construct this dessert. Also… can we just take a moment to take in the cuteness of putting the dessert into champagne glasses. If you don’t want to make this yet, I don’t know what will.

What you will need:

  • champagne glasses
  • chocolate pudding
  • whipped cream
  • oreos

Directions:

  1. Simply crush up the oreos, then place them into the bottom of each champagne glass.
  2. Next, layer the chocolate pudding over the oreos.
  3. Lastly, top with the whipped cream.
  4. Now, you can stop there, but I just added a few more crushed oreos.
  5. Serve immediately or store in the fridge, until ready to serve.

Lastly, I am going to share with you are these party pretzels. This is something you can whip up last minute and is sure to be a hit at the party. You can use anything you want to decorate them, but I found that the gold and silver sugar crystals looked the best.

What you will need:

  • rod pretzels
  • white chocolate
  • sprinkles

Directions:

  1. Start by melting the white chocolate in the microwave for about 45 seconds. If it isn’t getting to a smooth texture, you may want to add some vegetable oil to smooth it out.
  2. Simply dip each pretzel halfway into the white chocolate.
  3. Sprinkle the sprinkles over each pretzel.
  4. Stick into the fridge for about 30 minutes to harden the white chocolate.
  5. Serve immediately or store in the fridge until ready to serve.

I hope you found these few sweet treats to be helpful and will inspire you to bring these for all of your party guests to enjoy and celebrate with. I hope you will have an awesome start to the new year, no matter how you choose to celebrate.

HAPPY NEW YEAR’S!
